Sarah has over 13 years of clinical experience as a paediatric Speech Pathologist across various clinical areas, including speech and language delay, complex communication and disability, cleft lip/palate and paediatric feeding.
Sarah has worked in a range of settings, including tertiary paediatric hospitals, community health centres and non-government organisations. Sarah's areas of interest include cleft lip/palate, speech sound disorders, early communication skills and paediatric feeding /dysphagia (swallowing impairment).
Sarah has volunteered for Interplast Australia & New Zealand since 2015 . Working from Suva, Fiji, Sarah supports the feeding and communication skills of children born with cleft lip/palate. She has also developed a curriculum in cleft lip/palate management that is taught annually at Fiji National University.
